Wow...what a response!
Junior staff program overflowing
Once again,
we're amazed by the number of registrations we've received for Junior
staff. Each year we
can accept about 100 applicants into our Junior staff program. High school students come for a week of
training at the beginning of summer to connect and grow together, and they
learn valuable skills that will help them assist our summer staff with
counseling duties when they return later in the summer. This year, we had to turn away applicants
because such a large number applied. Over 110 teens applied to be summer volunteers! "Wow" is right. We're so thankful that this program has been such an effective ministry to teens. |
Another great option
Two teen camps offered in 2010
If Junior
staff didn't work out for you this year, or if you're looking for something a little
different, you might try one of our teen camps. This year we're offering two camps, each with a slightly
different focus. No matter which camp
you choose, you can count on making lifelong memories with great
Christians. Click on the link below to learn more about our
teen camps and to print a registration form. |
Raise your hand if you use church bulletins If your hand is up, keep reading!
People often
ask us to help them advertise for Camp Phillip in their church. We're always working to build the library of
resources that you can use to get the word out. In addition to the downloadable logos, video and brochures (and
the custom-made bulletin board that can be mailed right to your door), we've
added another set of downloads on our website. We're now
offering a variety of bulletin inserts and covers that are free for you to
use. There are two different General
Information inserts that will help your members learn more, and there's also an
insert that you can use on the Sunday that you take your Camp Phillip
collection. We even offer bulletin
covers that you can print and use for your Camp Phillip Sunday. Feel free to
use anything and everything. Thanks for
helping!
