"If anyone serves, he should do
it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be
praised through Jesus Christ."
- 1 Peter 4:10
We are so thankful for all those who volunteer at Camp Phillip.
God be praised!
Work weekends approach
We need your help!
calendars! We have two volunteer weekends approaching.
April 17-19 is the spring Woodcutting weekend, and May 1-3 is the
spring Work weekend. At each weekend, lodging and food are
provided as our way of saying thank you.
We've got lots of projects waiting for takers! We'll be cutting
and splitting wood, doing some trail maintenance, finishing up the
electrical work at the stage, cleaning up the campground, and
possibly adding some seating at the stage. And if none of those
projects interest you or if you have a specialized skill, just
contact us and we'd be glad to work with you! Your help is
Teens will gather for spring Teen Retreat
27-29, teens will gather at Camp Phillip for the spring Teen
Retreat. Our theme this year is "Shepherds in
Training," and the Bible studies will focus on Christian
leadership. God encourages us to be leaders among his flock,
and we'll explore exactly what that means in our lives.
Teen retreats are always a great break in the middle of a long
semester. Parents and youth leaders, if you're looking for
opportunities to help your teens grow in meaningful, spiritual ways,
these retreats can be a great tool. Register today by printing
off the brochure/registration form and sending it in. You'll
find the brochure by clicking the link below.
And now, for
something totally unrelated...
this website! A couple guys produced an artistic visualization
of all the cross-references in the Bible. It's terrific.
What a blessing that the Bible so consistently points to our
Savior. "These are the scriptures that testify about
me," Jesus says in John 5.
