"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

75 teens gather for retreat

winter teens From January 8-10, 75 teens and their youth leaders gathered at Camp Phillip for the winter teen retreat.  The cold didn't stop anyone!  The campers loved cross country skiing, tubing, sitting by the fire, kindling friendships, and learning what it means for Jesus to use our weaknesses and turn them into superpowers!  The Bible studies were based on 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.

Dave Tess, youth leader at St Lucas, Milwaukee, attended with his teens for the first time.  He commented, "There's no place like Camp Phillip. It's a place where Christ is naturally a part of your whole day. I can't think of another place where middle/high school students would happily spend 4+ hours in God's Word. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed in Christ."

The next teen retreat is scheduled for March 26-28, and we'll be exploring God's "text messages" to us.  Make plans to attend!

Knights of the Day
The theme is revealed!

Knights of the Day Let's get medieval!  Your theme for 2010 summer programs is "Knights of the Day,"  and we'll engage in the quest to uphold the code of truth and justice.  Prepare for an epic experience as we discover what it means to put on love and faith as a breastplate and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Summer brochures are coming your way very soon.  In the meantime, plan your summer calendars (and register, if you'd like) by clicking on the links below.

women Life tends to fill up with necessities.  Unfortunately, those necessities often prevent us from doing that which is truly necessary: spending time with those we love, connecting with believers around us, and devoting time and meditation to God's Word.  At our women's retreats, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with a terrific group of ladies with whom you'll share stories and laughs.  And you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of believers as you grow in Jesus.

Join us for an Unfinished Projects Retreat or a Quilting Retreat this February!  Enjoy the company of great people and get all your projects done without the distractions of home, children, pets, phones, etc.
